Results from feedback

The feedback was generally positive but there wer a couple of issues such as the quality although that is beyond our control. Other things to improve are:
  • The lighting; it was too dark in various shots
  • The sound; Richard is difficult to hear
  • The chase sequence needs to be extended and more dramatic
  • The narrative needs to be a bit stronger
To improve these issues we will re shoot it with a better quality DSLR camera (Canon EOS 600D). This will allow us to control the exposure and lighting more and also make the film look more cinematic as we can change the colour settings and resolution.

Editing log

Dark filters will be added in post-production to make the film look darker

Location Recce

Location -
Beverley Westwood
Bricknell Avenue

Lighting -
We will be using natural light

Camera Angles -
To film high angle shots we will have to climb in a tree or use step ladders

Sound -
Due to the location being open, it is subject to high winds so the sound will be very bad. To get around this problem we will have to dub some of the sounds

Health and Safety issues -
Climbing trees to achieve high angle shots
The needles and knife will have to be monitored closely as they can cause unwanted attention as well as minor and major injuries should anything go wrong
